Roald Dahl Workshop

On Friday Lions and Tigers were very lucky to take part in a Roald Dahl workshop. We played games and showed our fantastic knowledge of Roald Dahl books and characters. As a class we chose The Twits to focus on and the lady talked us through the main characters and what happens in the story. We then had to work in groups to create a freeze frame of a character from the book and the others had to guess who we were. It was great fun! Self Portraits

This week in Art we have been learning to draw our own self portraits. We worked really hard to look carefully at our pictures to include all the important details. We then experimented with mixing paint to create our own colour for our skin and jumpers. Next week when they are dry we will be painting our eyes and mouths. Multi Cultural Dance

Today we had a visit from Laura from Premier Sports. We played lots of fun games to warm up including Popcorn and Hot Chocolate. We then did India dancing and danced to one of the songs from the film Trolls.
