Gressenhall

Yesterday the Year 1's and 2's visited Gressenhall and what a fantastic day we had! The children were all super excited and we had such a busy day learning about lots of things from the past.
We learnt about toys from the past.
Modern Maisie talked about her new television that only has one channel and is black and white! She also showed us her record player that she uses to entertain guests and we danced along to a song.
Doreen then talked about her stove where she cooks using fire. She also showed us how to make a fried eggy cheese sandwich which we then tried. It was yummy!
We also visited their farm and had a very bumpy tractor ride. It was super fun and we saw lots of animals including horses, sheep and a cow with her calf.
We also fed some goats!
There was a lot to look at in the museum including old tractors and an old fire engine!
